The Mitty Care is security mitt with padding on both sides, which prevents patients from removing their medical equipment. Thanks to the inspection opening, you can easily check the hand from time to time without having to remove the mitt. The opening also makes it easier to apply the mitt to the patient its hand. Furthermore, by opening the mitt you can check whether picking, pulling and/of scratching behavior is still occurring. The Mitty Care is expecially suitable for patients who unconsciously pick, pull and/or scratch. Think of a patient/resident in, for example, a postoperative situation or in, for example, the intensive care unit, stroke unit, rehabilitation and/or neurology department.
