The FeelSafe Pro consists of:

• FeelSafe Pro canopy bed;
• Comfort mattress;
• Matress topper.

The FeelSafe Pro offers a safe sleeping environment for restless and fall-risk patients who regularly leave the bed without supervision. This includes frail elderly, severely emaciated clients, residents with wandering behavior or with a form of acute confusion and/or delirium. The bed prevents the use of physical restraint and/or sedating medication (Molleman study). In the bed, the patient can move freely and sleep in his preferred position. The canopy is fully padded, so the patient cannot hurt himself. The reduced environment offers a sense of security and protection, which positively influences the day-night rhythm. This gives peace of mind, both for the patient and caregivers.

When all other alternatives have been considered (e.g. alarm, floor bed, FeelSafe Go), then the FeelSafe Pro could be a good solution for the indication as described above.

The FeelSafe Pro is easily accessible with a patient lift. The bed has all lying surface adjustments. Finally, the bed is equipped with a CPR lever to bring the back support horizontal in one quick action in the event of CPR.
